Announcing Admissions

H.S.C. results will be declared around 25 th May 2010 and the admission process will begin immediately after. Please read the newspapers for further information or visit this website for further details.

In the meantime, students who have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination from OTHER THAN MAHARASHTRA BOARD and wish to apply for admission to any degree course offered by the University of Mumbai should apply for “Provisional Statement of Eligibility” in a prescribed format at any of the colleges affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Students who have already received their marksheet of the HSC / Equivalent Examination can apply immediately or as soon as they receive their marksheet, but prior to applying for admission at any of the affiliated colleges. Colleges will not accept the application form for admission without this certificate.

Please keep sufficient copies / photocopies of your photographs and other related documents like Domicile certificate, caste certificate in the name of the student issued by a competent authority of the Government of Maharashtra, any other certificate which will be used for the admission.

Students from Arts, Science, Commerce and Other Diploma Courses (as approved by the University of Mumbai) are eligible to apply for admissions to BMS Course. 25% of the seats are reserved for students from Arts and Science Faculty and 5% of the seats are reserved for students from other diploma Courses. 45% of the seats are reserved for students from Commerce faculty. Admissions are based purely on merit of HSC / Equivalent Examination. No Entrance examination is conducted for admission to this course by the University of Mumbai.
